![]() Jennifer Bromme: owner, technician, and service manager Word of mouth of the quality labor increased business to the point where I had to move the shop to a bigger location and hire two employees. In 1998 it was time to move again, this time to the current location at 3248 17th St. Now the staff has grown to three employees and two apprentices, and we make a great team! I still love to work on bikes myself, although now I concentrate more on managing, test driving, foreman and chief mechanic duties and trying to make constant improvements to the shop and the services offered. From 1999 to 2002 I raced sidecars with my best friend Christine as a "monkey" with the Sidecar Racers Association, and from 2002 to 2003 I raced a Yamaha FZR400 and a Suzuki GSX-R 750 with the AFM. Unfortunately I broke my hip in 100-mph-high-side racing the 750 at Buttonwillow, and changed my involvement in racing to crew chief and head mechanic duties. In 2006 I was the crew chief for Matt Eccleston (AMA#410, AFM#401) to help him race in the AMA for the first time, and we got to go racing at Laguna Seca at the same time as the MotoGP guys. That was very exciting and a lot of fun! Christine had planned her vacation to the US around the MotoGP weekend, and helped out a lot! Here is a list of bikes that I have owned over the years:
