Everybody at Werkstatt loves to go to the motorcycle races! That is where we develop new skills and keep updated with newest technologies, not to mention the thrill of making the fast guys go faster. Jennifer used to race in the AFM (American Federation of Motorcyces) and the SRA (Sidecar Racer Association) until 2003, and has recently started racing vintage bikes, namely a 69 CB160 with the AHRMA and the AFM.

You can keep up with our racing adventures on our blog

In 2008 we are sponsoring the SFMC Race Team consisting of Jim Hoogerhyde, Mickey Fimbres and Eric Schiller, and John Willenborg in Supermoto USA . John's and Eric's engines are being built by our engine builder, Patrick Ho from Performance Concepts .

We also sometimes sponsor a racing class, or individual racers like Matt Eccleston , who we built a bike for and supported both at the AFM club racing and the AMA national level in 2006.

We build motors and set up race bikes, we test-and-tune, and then we bring our latest knowledge back to the street and to you and your bike.

Check out the racing schedule for upcoming races. Our home track is Infineon Raceway (formerly Sears Point) located in Sonoma County, 45 minutes from San Francisco.

In 2002 we rented the track for us and our friends to do some testing, and , of course, to have a lot of fun. Keep checking in for future trackdays, or call us to get on the trackday list (we will not, ever, spam you) to get notified of upcoming trackdays that we put on or that we attend.

Check the Racers menu to the left to read about the racers that are currently racing or have in the past raced with us!
